Strawberry Salad Bowl

INGREDIENTS
- 6 oz. - Mixed seasonal salad greens: leaf lettuce, spinach, arugula, baby greens, etc., washed and spun dry.
- 1-1/2 cups - Fresh strawberries, cleaned and sliced
- 1 cup - Almonds, chopped or sliced and toasted.
- 2/3 cup - Olive oil
- 4 Tbsp - Raw honey
- 1/3 cup - Orange juice, fresh
- 3 Tbsp. - Fresh lemon juice
- ½ tsp. - Sea salt
- 1 Tbsp. - Poppy seeds- (optional)
- 1 tsp. - Dijon mustard
Recipe Hint: A little crumble of fresh goat’s cheese is a
nice addition to this salad.
METHOD
- Combine lettuce and strawberries in a serving
bowl.
- Place
Olive oil, honey, orange juice, lemon juice, sea salt, poppy seeds (if using)
and Dijon in a
jar.
- Place
lid securely on jar and shake to combine, taste and reseason as necessary.
- When
ready to serve combine dressing with greens and strawberries- toss.
- Divide
salad evenly between 6 salad plates and garnish with toasted almonds
