Life in Flow

Personal Chef Services and Seasonal Living in North Salem, NY

Life moves in seasons. Some are subtle. Others invite change. This past year opened the opportunity for a new chapter and a new home, nestled in North Salem on the border of Westchester and Putnam County. After more than fifteen years in Ulster County, the shift has been both grounding and expansive.

Though the move was just across the Hudson River, any transition asks us to release what was and settle into what is becoming. The landscape here feels aligned with the work I have devoted my life to. Quiet roads, surrounding woods, nearby farms, and a strong sense of community create a natural foundation for seasonal cooking and intentional living.

My work as a personal chef, health-supportive chef, retreat chef, wellness coach, and recipe developer continues to evolve within this new setting, while the heart of it remains unchanged.

Personal Chef Services Rooted in Real Life

For some families, it means having nourishing meals prepared each week so time can be spent elsewhere. For others, it means navigating dietary changes, food sensitivities, or health transitions with confidence. It involves menu planning, sourcing high-quality ingredients, in-home meal preparation, or developing recipes tailored to specific needs.

My role is to develop trusting relationships and listen carefully to translate each client’s nutritional goals, lifestyle, and preferences into meals that feel deeply supportive. The intention is always the same: to help people feel more at home in their bodies and at ease in their kitchens.

Whether working with individuals in North Salem, neighboring communities like Somers, Katonah, and Ridgefield, CT, or clients across the broader Westchester and Putnam region, the approach is thoughtful, personalized, and grounded in whole foods.

Seasonal Cooking and Connection to Place

Seasonal cooking is not about strict rules or perfection. It is about paying attention. What is growing nearby. What your body is asking for. What feels steady and nourishing right now.

In warmer months, that may mean vibrant vegetable-forward meals and fresh herbs gathered at their peak. As temperatures cool, it often shifts toward slow-simmered soups, roasted roots, and deeply grounding dishes that restore and sustain.

Eating in tune with the seasons builds a foundation for lasting health. It supports digestion, energy, and resilience. Most importantly, it reconnects us to the natural rhythms that quietly guide well-being.

A Flexible and Client-Centered Philosophy

Every household is different. Some clients are managing full professional schedules. Others are focused on long-term health goals. Some want to feel inspired in their kitchens again. My approach adapts to each situation.

I listen first. I design meals and plans second.

This work has always been about more than food. It is about creating ease, reducing stress around meals, and fostering moments of connection at the table. Supporting the well-being of others through thoughtful cooking and lifestyle guidance is both a privilege and a lifelong calling.

Because wherever we live, nourishment is not only about what is on the plate. It is about feeling rooted, supported, and fully at home.
