Sunflower seeds, hemp seeds and flax seeds make a triple and tasty power house spread.  If you are looking for a nutritious and dairy free alternative for spreading, wrapping, dipping or just to add to your meals this is it!

Soaking sunflower seeds overnight in plenty of filtered water, helps them to plump up making it easier to blend. (and easier for you to digest).  Loaded with fiber, protein and good quality fats this is something you’ll want to have on hand for a quick meal.  I recently discovered  Manitoba Milling Co. smooth whole milled Flaxseed!  This product is a game changer, smooth and finely milled so it blends easily into anything you’re making.  The flavor is sweet, rich and tastes great, (no aftertaste).  Hemp seeds are the third seedy addition, mild in flavor and a great source of protein and rich in essential minerals.  Lemon and kelp granules – (that add natural iodine) add a boast of fresh flavor.

This basic recipe is easily adaptable to your tastes.  I hope you enjoy it.
